FAQ

Questions, answered

What HVAC services do you offer?

We repair, install, replace and maintain air conditioners, furnaces and heat pumps, and we also handle ductless mini-splits, ductwork, duct sealing and cleaning, zoning, indoor air quality, humidity control, smart thermostats, maintenance plans, energy upgrades and commercial systems. Every service has its own page on this site.

How do I know if I should repair or replace my system?

Age, repair history, the size of the repair and how comfortable the house is all matter. A small repair on a younger system usually makes sense, while repeated repairs on an older one often do not. We lay out both options so you can decide with the facts in front of you.

How is the right system size chosen?

We measure the house rather than copying the old unit. A load calculation looks at floor area, insulation, windows, air leakage and ducts, then points to the right capacity. Oversized systems cycle on and off and leave rooms clammy, and undersized ones run constantly.

Which brands do you install?

We install and service Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Rheem, Goodman, American Standard, Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Bryant, York, Ruud and Amana. Each brand has a page on this site with a link to the maker, and we can help you choose the line that fits your home.

Can you service equipment you did not install?

Yes. We diagnose and repair most makes and models, and we can put a maintenance plan on a system someone else installed.

What should I do if my AC or heat stops working?

Check the thermostat, the filter and the breaker, then call 615-431-3789 or send the form. If you smell gas, leave the home and call your gas utility first. Tell us what the system is doing and we will take it from there.

Which cities do you serve?

We serve Middle Tennessee, with a page for each main city on this site. If you do not see your town, call 615-431-3789 and we will tell you whether we can come out.

Can I plan my system online first?

Yes. The HVAC Planner on this site lets you choose your home type, size, current system, goals and comfort problems, then shows a plan of where the equipment would go, an estimated tonnage range and suggested services that you can send to us with one tap.
